The purpose of this study is to analyze the important factors of form and composition by the mathematical measurement of average rate of change and curvature in standard and horizontal eyebrow makeup and objectify interpretation according to individual esthetic sense. 336 questionnaires were used for the final analysis in the students of beauty-related departments. Using SPSS 20.2 program, data collected were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and crosstab analysis. The results were as follows. First, frequency analysis was conducted to examine frequency according to average rate of change and curvature for eyebrow makeup forms(standard and horizontal). While ‘A-2’ was the highest in the standard eyebrow, ‘B-1’ was the highest in the horizontal eyebrows. Second, frequency analysis was conducted to examine the important factors for the form and composition of eyebrow makeup. The most important factor was the angle of an eyebrow bone, followed by eyebrow direction slant and eyebrow end. Third, factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted to examine the levels of eyebrow makeup recognition. Three factors such as acceptance, positiveness, and play were derived. Fourth, crosstab analysis was conducted by chi-square test to analyze difference in the important factors of form and composition according to the standard type of eyebrow makeup. Eyebrow makeup was the most standard when average rate of change was 0.25 and curvature was 0.43. Fifth, crosstab analysis was conducted by chi-square test to analyze difference in the important factors of form and composition according to the horizontal type of eyebrow makeup. Eyebrow makeup was the most horizontal when average rate of change was 0.07 and curvature was 0.09. The analysis results of this study will be used as objective materials for the esthetic standards of eyebrow forms that act as an import element in a makeup image.
