Implications for housing policies and housing supply methods were investigated by analyzing changes in the perception of housing in the “untact” (doing things without direct contact with others) lifestyle that has accelerated in the pandemic era. Analysis of variance and post hoc analysis of the research problem were conducted. The problem addressed is that changes in the perception of housing in the pandemic era (the most necessary facilities, preferred residential area, and housing type) differ depending on age, residential area, and number of household members. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, satisfaction with the untact lifestyle during the pandemic is an average of 6.14 points (out of 10), but housing structures are inadequate for telecommuting, provide insufficient residential environment facilities, and feature stuffy and narrow living spaces and structures. Second, the necessary facilities and facilities for houses in the pandemic era are interwall noise blocking, a 5G environment, terraces, natural ventilation structures, ventilation systems, gardens and parks, etc. Regarding the preferred residential area in Korea, Seoul had the highest preference, but the preference for metropolitan and other areas was also found to be approximately 30%. Regarding the preferred housing type, a preference for terraced apartments and detached houses was found to be high. Third, it was confirmed that there was a difference in the perception of housing by age, region of residence, and number of household members. A housing policy that reflects changes in people’s perception of housing in the pandemic era is needed, and follow-up research must be continued through the construction of panel data on untact housing and housing perception.
