Report Errors
In order to examine the changes and development of the jump rope competition, the outline of the 11-year K University jump rope competition was reviewed and in-depth interviews were conducted with the officials. The collected data were analyzed inductively, and in order to rule out the bias of the researcher, an expert meeting was held throughout the research process to obtain the validity and reliability of the research. As a result of the study, first, it was analyzed that the number of participants in the jump rope competition was continuously increasing, strengthening its position as a competition event. Second, it is judged that various efforts were made for the diversification of events according to the contestants and the clarification of the rules for the jump rope competition. Third, the jump rope competition was operated more objectively through the 'Award Standard Table', and it was helping the participants to achieve their goals through absolute evaluation. Fourth, it was identified that the jump rope game was naturally changed from a daily life sports event to a professional sports competition.
