Innovative behavior is essential for leader’s excellent performance and effective organizational functioning and this important discretionary behavior is based on how they receive treatment from their leaders. This study investigated the relationship among empowering leadership, innovative behavior, knowledge sharing, and organizational creative climate. In particular, this study examined employee’s knowledge sharing as a mediator in the relationship between empowering leadership and innovative behavior. And also examined organizational creative climate as a moderator in the relationship between empowering leadership and knowledge sharing. Based on theoretical constructs linkage, the research model and hypotheses were established. Thereafter, empirical data were collected by postal mails or direct visits using a set of questionnaires. All of the research variables were measured on a five-point Likert scale(ranging from 1=strongly disagree to 5=strongly agree). This survey was administered to employees working in 34 firms, 589 samples were used for the analysis. This study conducted an EFA & CFA for the validity test and Cronbach’s α test for the reliability test. And then hierarchical regression analysis and Process Macro were used for testing hypotheses. The result of analysis showed the positive relationship between empowering leadership and innovative behavior and mediating model analysis exhibited that the effect of empowering leadership on innovative behavior was partially mediated by knowledge sharing. We also found that organizational creative climate in organization moderated the relationship between empowering leadership and knowledge sharing such that empowering leadership is more positively related to knowledge sharing when organizational creative climate is higher. The study findings were discussed along with managerial and theoretical implications and the limitations and future direction of the study.
