The purpose of this study was to identify the recruitment requirements of multicultural welfare institutions and provide information related to employment, so that college students majoring in social welfare could use them as strategies for employment at the institution. As a research method, data from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Family Business Guide (2021) were used to analyze information on recruitment regulations, procedures, qualifications, and recruitment requirements. As a result of the analysis, first, it is necessary to acquire qualifications such as a social worker or a health caregiver depending on the position and to meet the practical requirements for 1 to 8 years of related business. Second, since the criminal history related to child abuse and elder abuse is conducted as a reason for disqualification of workers, it is necessary to maintain the behavior so as not to be exposed to criminal acts. Third, it is necessary to have the ability to support multicultural families so that they can settle as members of Korean society by understanding multiculturalism and improving multicultural awareness. Fourth, different requirements for recruitment are presented according to the characteristics of each local government, so it is necessary to strive for multicultural bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral degrees and career management, such as social welfare and counseling. Fifth, volunteer activities and field experiences related to multiculturalism are being used as important tools to confirm the value of social workers, so continuous efforts are required.
