Brazil is a notorious country stigmatized as “paradise of corruption” nevertheless corruption is not the exclusive property of Brazil. This simple observation indicates that Brazil is very friendly to corruption by nature. This study, then, goes to answer how this corruption friendly environment had been formed in the course of social formation and evolution in Brazil. It is believed that Brazilian patriarchy is the background of the corruption friendly environment and the life-style came from it contribute to encourage corruptions. Brazil is patriarchal not in the sense of dictionary meaning but of its sharing patriarchy-like characters: no distinction of public and private areas and androcentrism. Corruption is a form of?dishonestor unethical conduct by a person entrusted with a position of authority, often to acquire personal benefit without distinction of public and private areas. Then, patriarchal Brazil becomes, by nature, corruption friendly country. If patriarchal characters are one axis, one another is the incompetence of Brazilian legal system that gives wrong belief of impunity to criminals.
