The techniques such as effleurage, friction, Z-zagging, spiraling, alternating, kneading, pinching etc. are used in order to remove the dead skin cell and sebum and to facilitate the blood circulation for shampooing. In order to analyze the shampoo techniques by salon in comparison, a total of 7 salons were divided with large, medium and small size, and the shampoo technique was analyzed based on the assistant hairdressers with more than one year of experience. In the result of comparing the shampoo techniques, the same order of techniques from the start until the finish were not used but the majority of the salons applied the shampoo agent with effleurage, and the zigzag method was used for the center part. The spiraling for the side, the alternating for the back side, and the friction to the pinching for the latter part of the shampooing was used as common order. In addition, it showed the progress direction from the frontal side for starting, to the side, back side, and the nape. This study, the order of technique for shampooing will be suggested. First, shampoo agent should be applied with effleurage, and the Z-zagging for the top of the head, and the alternating should be used for the back side. The spiraling should be used for the back side of the ears and the kneading should be used for the nape part, finally, it will be advisable to finish the whole part of the head with the pinching.
