Existing research focusing on the place of the existing Oh, Jang?hwan has been analyzing the mainly poet of perspectives and the implementation of the text which views Gyeongseong. In this paper, I will de?from ways to explain that Oh, Jang ?hwan has experienced Gyeongseong as the partition of the double city. It is set to be mentioned review the terms "place" which is to allow multiple experiences. Therefore beginning places that he have created a significant experience in, the journal named "Siinbulak(poet villages)", and the human network that Oh, Jang? hwan was formed in the colonial period, I will search the transfiguration of recognition and representation for "place" in his poetry. Young Oh, Jang?hwan had coldly watched the situation in "Su?bu(capital)" but this view was changed to "lovely and beloved my Seoul" on the occasion of release. It is essential to examine this process by studying Oh, Jang?hwan’s places. As you can see in the long poem "Su?bu(capital)", his early poetry is to create a sense of tension using the method to superimpose the fragmentation of modernization and the heterogeneous part of Gyeongseong. However, we cannot see this active use of montage techniques in the work that has been contained in the essential of his poetry of the "Sung?byuk" and "Hunsa". It is related that he published a magazine such as "Siinbulak" and "Poonglim" with Seo, Jeong?ju and his group who experienced Gyeongseong together and this experiences changed his personal poetics. The process that the poetry contained in journal had adapted in book of poetry as using same name shows Oh, Jang?hwan has transformed into a symbolic place from the real life experiences that he want to express. It is impossible to explain Oh, Jang?hwan’s place if we overlook such a process and try to explain by having only representations of city or symbolism of the harbor.
