This study was one group pre-post experimental study to identify the effect of applied art psychological counseling program for the primary care-giver of elderly with dementia living in Seoul. The program was consisted of 7 topics like as rapport formation, support stage, self-discovery, self-understanding, self-acceptance, emotional regulation, self-opening and self-application. This program was conducted from April to October in 2015, once a week for 120 minutes for 33weeks. IBM SPSS 21.0 was used to measure the difference between pre, mid-point and post score of depression, suicide ideation, self-esteem, hope, entrapment and positive-negative affects by descriptive statistics, Friedman test, Wilcoxon signed rank test, and Spearman correlation. Final Subject to attend all part of program was 7 female elderly and their mean age was 66.4years. Their pre-test mean depression score was 6.7 and there was moderate degree of depression. The result showed that the depression was significantly decreased after program(p=.042).
