Report Errors
MyData is a government data policy focused on protecting personal information and promoting public data openness. Major countries worldwide are strengthening individuals’ information protection, especially in finance, where personal data is utilized with consent. This study introduces MyData’s concept and characteristics, exploring case studies of innovative financial services from seven foreign companies in the UK, US, Japan, and China. Challenges were identified in advancing data analysis, consulting, third-party provision, and investment advisory services in MyData implementation in South Korea. Enhancing the protection and usability of consumers’ financial information is crucial, not only in finance but also in education and other industries handling sensitive personal data.
