This study aims to analyze the correlation between cultural identity and mobility, and investigate relevant cases in order to understand the impact of cultural identity on the development of mobility. Mobility is expected to bring new changes to our transportation environment and methods in the near future as one of the many fields rapidly advancing through the Fourth Industrial Revolution. However, with the results of decades of globalization, similar products and services are being offered in various cultural regions, and nationalistic movements seeking to reestablish their cultural identity have emerged in various regions. Therefore, there is a growing need for mobility development based on research into cultural identity in specific cultural regions, moving away from standardized and uniform mobility products and services. Against the backdrop of such nationalistic movements, this study aims to identify the correlation factors between cultural identity and mobility, analyze them, and examine how these factors are reflected in mobility through analysis. By doing so, this study hopes to propose new elements for mobility development and contribute to the satisfaction of the expectations and demands of users in specific cultural regions. It also hopes to inspire ongoing research into the relationship between cultural identity and mobility.
