Although playgrounds are facilities that should be available to all children, there are about 10 barrierfree playgrounds nationwide.
The barrier-free playground environment is suitable for an integrated environment. This study was conducted due to a lack of prior research on the reason for the low awareness and practical use of barrier-free playgrounds. In particular, since there was no study conducted on parents who were the main caregivers of children, an online survey was conducted on parents by dividing them into the presence or absence of their children"s disabilities. As a result, awareness of barrier-free playgrounds was insufficient on both sides, and there was no significant difference in the answers of disabled and non-disabled parents in terms of necessity and actual use, and the majority of them were positive.
