The perspective, concepts, and practices of education have all changed significantly following the pandemic. This paper diagnoses the situation as a serious challenge that requires not just quantitative prescriptions but a comprehensive adjustment and restructuring of the literary education ecosystem. In response to this problem, the changes in the media environment, learners, and literary classrooms were examined. As a result, there is a need to change our questions from “how to use media” to “how to live with media,” and to consider new educational systems that suit the learning styles of Phono sapiens while also recognizing the need to change modern literature education from being reading-focused. Furthermore, it was argued that in order to emphasize the “well-being” of individuals and communities and the “agency” of students as the topic of future education, it is necessary to adjust and reconstruct the ecosystem of literary education, starting with the concepts. Although it may conflict with other orientations and philosophies, ultimately, proposals, discussions, experiments, and solidarity related to these concepts must be developed in research and practice if the concepts of “well-being” or “agency” are to occupy a significant place(niche) in the ecosystem of literary education. In addition to expanding our perspective on literature from “reading/writing” to “doing,” there is a need for innovation in educational methods that places the learner's literary assets at the center, respects and understands their participation and execution. As designers of the learning journey, literature teachers should support learners in experiencing positive learning and remembering the experiences of discovery and achievement, enabling them to explore the world of literature in-depth and extensively using their digital devices and other assets.
