Analysis and Consideration of TermsUsed in English ExpressionsSeonyoung You
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the various English words and expressions in order to seek the learning methods for English learners by examining the background of the expansion of English words that are being used more abundantly under the influence of words and expressions in foreign languages. Therefore, various historical backgrounds of English expressions were examined, and examples of words used in English belong to each word category were presented and analyzed. In this study, various English expressions were analyzed by classifying and analyzing English words and expressions into foreign words and borrowing, abbreviations and acronyms, words taken from the names of progenitors, slang and special terms. We present guidelines that can help you understand the background. By conducting this study, the origin of English words is examined, and based on the analysis results, it is expected that this study will be a research result that can help English learners improve their skills.
