This study attempts to explore social and educational meanings with the aim of developing ‘art communication’ performance content based on storytelling. To achieve this goal, 'art communication' performance contents were developed and its social and educational implications were derived based on the ADDIE model and the three-stage model of theater based on storytelling with dance keywords by era. As a result of the study, first, a total of eight ‘art communication’ performing arts contents were developed, including Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classicisml(2), Romanticism, and Modern Art(2). Second, as a result of examining the social and educational implications of the developed content, it was analyzed that the social meaning of ‘art communication’ performing arts content could be communicated through art, secure the popularity of pure art, and accumulate cultural capital for cultural and artistic enjoyment. Therefore, it is expected that the ‘art communication’ performance content developed in this study will expand the social value of pure art and serve as a bridge to the expansion of the base of performing art as a lifelong education.
