The purpose of this study is to determine how visual light stimulation and breathing behavior affect muscle activity and tension. To this end, 40 adults in their 20s were divided into four groups and visual light stimulation blocking and deep breathing techniques were applied. , Afterwards, the change in measurements in the biceps femoris muscle was investigated. First, the activity and tension in the participant"s biceps femoris muscle were measured, and then after providing the same stimulus, the participant was asked to block visual stimulation or take deep breaths for 5 minutes and then take a rest. After resting, biceps femoris muscle activity and tension were measured again and compared with before stimulation. As a result of the study, changes in outer hamstring muscle tension were observed in the group that blocked only visual light stimulation, but there was no statistically significant change. In the group that applied deep breathing intervention, changes in muscle tension inside the hamstrings were statistically significant. In the group that used visual light stimulation blocking and deep breathing techniques simultaneously, statistically greater significant changes were observed than in other groups. Although additional research is needed, in conclusion, blocking visual light stimulation and applying deep breathing techniques can have a significant effect on reducing muscle activity and tension in the human body, resulting in a relaxation effect, and inducing muscle relaxation through such environmental control. suggests that it can be appropriately applied using theoretical basis in various clinical treatment environments
