The "Taekwondo(TKD) Promotion Basic Plan" establishes education, facilities, and organizations to preserve and promote, and encourage the government and Taekwondo-related organizations to implement them. Despite the purpose of the basic plan, limitations are being raised in the practical aspect of the policy, such as interruption of tasks due to changes in government policy or lack of momentum. To compare the evaluation indicators of the Taekwondo industry survey to analyze the implementation process of the ‘TKD Promotion Basic Plan’ and improve the effectiveness of the policy. In conclusion, that can be utilized from the perspective of performance management and policy evaluation, focusing on indicators produced and accessible by related organizations. First, if performance management and policy evaluation are viewed as separate concepts, the development and application of usable indicators are required to enable the evaluation and tracking of the single project. Second, when policy evaluation is included in performance management, indicators that can identify the number of businesses, sales, employees, and usage status must be used. Third, when performance management is included in policy evaluation, the development and application of indicators to calculate outcomes such as tourism revenue and tourist attraction effects are required. Fourth. If performance management and policy evaluation are viewed as the same concept, internationalization indices such as overseas Taekwondo industry surveys require the development and application of unified indicators by establishing cooperative relationships with related organizations.
