Remembrance is used as an expression of respect and memory for dead people or important events, and it is a process of respecting and remembering past experiences and learning lessons from the future. In addition, memorial services form community solidarity and social memories, and help heal and grow wounds of the past. The memorial space in Korea is similar to the memorial space in the past, focusing on unilateral information transmission and educational meaning, and there is a lack of participation and communication. However, modern memorial spaces are developing into spaces where visitors can interpret them in various ways, focusing on individual memories, and where they can visit memories and meanings on their own. These memorial spaces serve as a medium for visitors to receive information on emotional and direct memory objects and connect condolences, healing, and memories of the past through their own experiences and communication. It is a space where visitors can interpret in various ways, find memories and meanings, and think and think on their own, and the community space and communication medium space through experience and participation are placed at the center of the memorial space. The purpose of this study is to present a memorial space for community cultural facilities where various communication, cultural activities, and experience programs can be shared as a space for rest, recovery, and healing, away from the existing sacred and solemn memorial space.
