The purpose of this study is to plan and design a story-based VR experience center by classifying the experience-type of digital experience halls for the holistic development of children and analyzing the distribution of play types with Caillois Roger's theory of play. To demonstrate the effdct of immersion, which is a characteristic of VR experience, a survey was conducted on children who visited the digital experience center to verify the effectiveness. By applying the elements analyzed and derived from previous research to the story of Alice in Wonderland, VR contents were planned and experience exhibitions were desifned. With the development of digital midia, VR experience halls are increasing in quantity, but segmented contents of digital media, VR experience halls are increasing in quantity, but segmented contents centered on entertainment and play without a story are common. Therefore, it is expected to be the basis for the systematization of VR contents and the development of specialized spaces for the holistic development of children.
