한국의 전통 김치의 한 종류인 동치미에서 분리된 박테리아균주 VITA14는 Latilactobacillus curvatus으로 확인되었습니다. 해당 균주의 유전체는 43개의 contig로 구성된 1,887,051bp의 크기를 가지며 N50 값은 122,215 bp로 99.96%의 coverage로 분석되었습니다. G + C 함량은 41.8%로 2,010개의 전체 유전자(6개의 rRNA, 55개의 tRNA, 3개의 ncRNA 포함)를 포함하는 게놈이 예측되었으며, 이 중 1,881개의 유전자가 단백질 코딩 유전자로 예상되었습니다. 또한, 유산 생성, 탄수화물 대사, 항생제 내성 유전자 확인을 통해 균주의 생태학적 및 프로바이오틱 응용 가능성을 확인했습니다. 이러한 연구결과는 다양한 환경에서 Lactilactobacillus curvatus의 대사적 기능을 이해하는데 유용한 정보를 제공합니다.
