The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of mand and tact training using Errorless Learning and Systematic Fading Steps on the speech language acquisition of children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD). In this study the alternating treatment design was used to investigate the different effects of the independent variables, such as errorless learning and systematic fading steps on the speech language acquisition. The results of the study showed that the systematic fading approach was the most effective intervention for acquisition of the new vocal mands and tacts repertories compared with control and errorless learning conditions. All three participants demonstrated skill transfer for using target words from the trained verbal operant condition to another non trained verbal operant.
