This study aims to supply the basic data for contemporary museum architecture as a social educational facilities. In this study, the rate of categorized function can be used as important data for the spatial compositions in new museum architecture. Through the case study, we can discover the new requirements in facilities of museum. The findings as follow : 1 the average rate of ( exhibition part : educational part : research part : collection storage part : management & etc. part ) is ( 34 : 9 : 13 : 38 ) 2 new requirement facilities in museum are - separation individual from group in entering and circulation - orientation area - professionalization and variety of museum shop - professionalization of staff organization - addition of the rest facilities ( such as restaurant, child facilities, etc.) 3 the rate of space of each function makes a difference from countries from countries, characteristics.
