The purpose of the present thesis lies in the comparative study of Fransis Jammes's poems & Baek Sok's. The reason why we accomplish this study is in the fact that the influence of Jammes's poems is found in many Baek Sok's poems, but the latter realizes his aesthetics by accommodating and creating the former's works.
This comparative study is accomplished poetic simplicity & the love of all living creation, emotion, imagination, constituent unit. These similarity acts common factor, despite of the difference of naturality and social environment.
But, because of these external similarity, we can not compare two poets simply. Because Baek Sok's poems receives Jammes's in the all-inclusive dimension, as the internalization of his hometown loss.
Understanding Jammes's poems as the age's poetic dicourse, Baek Sok performs not imitated writing, but creative writing.
But, we can find that Jammes's poems plays the most important role in the process of building up Baek Sok's poems.
