The movement which is trying to evaluate the view as the economic value is happening as well in korea now and these movements are being reflected as it is in social phenomenon than academic world. In Seoul, the ownership of an apartment unit with views of rivers, mountains and something like that are more expensive than the others by US$ 50,000 to US$200,000. And Also many legal disputes take place because of the new buildings blocking the views of the others. Therefore, we develope the method that can objectively evaluate the views in each apartment unit. The studies are being started to solve the points at issues on the evaluation of view by fitting into those tendency and trend lately but clear standard has not been thesis yet. One of problems is to define where the view space and the view point are in the apartment unit.
Therefore this study is aiming the purpose of providing the view space and the viewpoint, one of quantitative standards to evaluate the view in the apartment unit. To present the methodology to establish the datum point of view, 1) precedent studies were scrutinized, 2) questionnaire to residents was conducted, 3) the indoor standard space was defined and 4) the visual characteristics in the room were analyzed.
