Stereo matching with a binocular camera is many employed to make a 3-dimensional modeling because
this method is passive type and don’t need any other tools. In stereo matching a SSD method is many used.
The SSD method has advantage which estimation time is fast and insensitive to noise. But the SSD method
always has the fixed search length so that has unnecessary search time and has much chance to add the error.
In this study in order to overcome these problems we add the initial process which is partly imported from
uncalibrated stereo matching. The 3-dimensional modeling can be obtained for unknown object using stereo
matching and obtained good result.
