The purpose of this paper is to find how to change 「Hoi-shim Gok」 which is a Buddhist verse in 19th century, coming in contact with other verses at the beginning of the 20th century. When we pay attention to the fact that 'Hoi-shim Gok' had been sung as a form of 「Youmbul(Buddhist invocation)」 +「Hoi-shim Gok」, the change of 'Hoi-shim Gok' is not actually from itself, but from the change of the Buddhist invocation part. The contents of 「Youmbul」 are「Bumo-unjungkyoung」, 「Pyungzo-youmbul」 and 「Ozo-youmbul」by mendicants or begger, and 「Mengin- dukdamkyoung」, 「Ban-megi」, 「Cezen」 which are kinds of 'Gosa- sori'.
In the aspect of receptive subjects, the form of rBuddhist
invocationj + 「Hoi-shim Gok」 can be classified into three groups. A) 「Youmbul」reception focused on 「Hoi-shim Gok」
B) 「Hoi-shim Gok」reception focused on 「Youmbul」
C) the changed aspects of 「Youmbul」 +「Hoi-shim Gok」
A) 「Youmbul」 reception focused on rHoi-shim Gok」 includes「Sok hoi-shim Gok」and 「Ban hoi-shim Gok」. This group emphasize the vanity of life in real world on the from of r v'anity of life - the world beyond in 「Hoi-shim Gok」. 「Sok hoi-shim Gok」 made up of the contexts of 「Bumo-unjungkyoung」 and 「Ozo-youmbul」added to 「Hoi -shim Gok」 in 1930s. Strengthening this phenomenon and excluding the part of 'the world beyond', 「Ban hoi-shim Gok」 was formed in 1950s B) 「Hoi-shim Gokc」reception focused on 「Youmbul」includes「Hoi -shim Gok : Kwanaksanzo」. The prolog parts of 「Youmbul」 +「Hoi -shim Gok」 was receptive to「Zap-ga」at the beginning of the 20th century. C) Various 「Youmbul」-Hoi-shim Gok」 are mixed and this mixed invocations were sung with 「Hoi-shim Gok」. Also, we can find the changed form of 「Hoi-shim Gok」 in 「Hoi -sheng Gok」which was a Muga by a female shaman.
In these aspects, 「Bumo-unjungkyoung」 was written as a linking of 「Youmbul」+「Hoi-shim Gok」, and it's a changed form as「Hoi-shim Gok」used as a popular song not as a Buddhist rite invocation.
