We must not satisfy to truth itself that Christian religion liberal arts are lectured every day in Christian religion college and chapel is given every week and Christian religion connection event is gone every month. Specially, Christian religion liberal arts lecture must not be regarded, nor be despised as useless subject that is forced for university graduate qualification. This research was done to grope Christian religion liberal arts activation way, especially it selected and developed group-class based on peer studying theory
and cell-group theory.
This kind of group-class has following. First, students who come to the class did not select this subject voluntarily. So, interest drops and voluntary participation is apt to be lacked. Second, students who join the class are from N generation so-called. These have the characteristic that do not recognize older generation's authority. Therefore, they refuse lecture-only class. Third, the purpose of Christian religion liberal arts is not knowledge transmission through the class. It is the thing which introduces Jesus and makes to receive salvation through him, and ultimately makes them to become God's children. Fourth, there is human nature education among the important fallouts that we can get in this subject. The group-class which is not unilateral contributes very positively in human nature informative aspect.
The peer studying which is the theoretical background of group-class is an aid activity that is achieved by similar age which do same work in some place. And the benefits of the peer studying is as following. First, peer leaders are to have pride and self-worthiness to themselves accomplishing aid skills. Second, the peer leaders more easily get the recognition of the students who are being helped than the professional teachers in early stage where there is relation-developing with the students being helped Third,
the students may have informal and less official attitude when they present their information to their peers. Fourth, adults can not understand rising generation's plain-speaking language and culture. But, peer leaders can aid adult experts to acquire more correct perspectives about students' problems and related issues and can help them to fill up these gaps. Fifth, when students aid other
students and recognize little more sense of responsibilities to invent the studying atmosphere, students can be more efficient
And also, cell-group is a session of small scale that gather for some specific target. This cell-group is in various kinds, the profits of this cell-group are as following. First, the group's cohesive power occurs. Second, there is an effect of self-exposure. This is the process of making oneself to be known to other prople. And through suitable own exposure, an owrtumty to know each other's idea is given, As a result, effect on evangelism grows. So, Howard Snider said, "Cell-group is the best method for evangelism". Third, have an opportunity of self realization. This self realization refers to that can live displaying own ability enough Seolgimun is reporting that group activity was effective on forming directivity, existence,
sensibility, self-affirmation, affirmative view of humanity among college students I self realization measures. Aside from these, there are various researches inside and outside of the country that
revealed that the group activity keeps disclosing useful effect on the measurement of self realization.
Lecture must have distinction from sermon. Sermon is proclamation, but in lecture of Christian religion liberal arts, side called persuasion should be emphasized. Therefore, it is more desirable to adopt cell-group form that has mutually personal interchange than unilateral general lecture in terms of specific characteristics of the lecture contents. Also, cell-group operation by peer leaders is effective. To disbeliving students the gospel is bitter medicine that they must eat The best dragee method for students who do not dose well of Christian Ethics(gospel) may be the group-class.
