Chapel and lectures on christianity are used as two important methods in christian colleges to deliver the good news to the students. Therefore these are very important duty of the chaplains.
But now the lecture on the christianity in colleges faces many difficulties. Nowadays college students are required to study many things in various areas such as foreign languages, computer sciences, liberal arts, in addition to their own major subjects. The study period is relatively shorter than the 4 year university students. In this situation there arise voices of worries about teaching this christian cultural subjects to the students from in and out.
Therefore here we are required to check what importance this subject has, what the purposes of the subjects are, and how we should teach in good efficiency. This article intends to assure the importance and the purposes of the subject one more time and to look into the quantity of the lecturing time in individual colleges, text books which are used, and constitution of the lecture.
I hope this material be helpful to the relevant who are working in the colleges and who want to devise or revise the teaching system of christian liberal art subjects.
