To win at world ocean order depends on to meet the need of port distribution
through the efficient choice and autonong at the grobualizing competition,
Japan's port plays an important role as a complex distribution center and has been developed with considering of fuction of harbor city.
This well developed harbor made possible to reduce distribution cost and to strengthen national competition of trade, But the harbors of Korea and China needs more facilities and thas require continuous investment
Thus to utilize the various and complex function of harbor and to meet the demand of port dramatic expansion of port facilities, increasing investment of facility maintanance, developing port as a basis of complex distribution center, reestablishment of port management policy, development as third generation port, and environmental protection oriented maintanance of port environment are required.
