The descriptive character of the ancient Chinese 'Fu' in its original version of 'the united literature, history and philosophy', has not been understood until the present because the current view of literature on 'Fu' prevails. It is 'the united literature, history and philosophy' that embraces the perspective on the scientific technology, which has committed to the formation of 'Fu'. First of all, I am making a different approach on the ancient Chinese scientific technology with the current one rather than with the traditional modern framework. Accordingly, the original version of 'Fu'can be characterized as follows:
First, 'Fu' ends up moral principles even if it describes a scientific knowledge because it is based on the ancient Chinese paradigm toward ethics as an ultimate purpose of the scientific research. Secondly, the designation of names for the plants and animals, places, stars and machine parts in 'Fu' has been criticized as a non-literature section but this was made and classified according to the then scientific philosophy. Lastly, the antithesis employed in 'Fu' is due to the ancient Chinese conception on the nature, which is created and diversely multiplied by the interaction between yin and yang.
