In recent years, the increasing interest in logistics has led to the change of the logistics management methods, which contains representatively the increasing importance in logistics management, the outsourcing of logistics, and the electronization of logistics. e-Logistics, key word of this paper, is not an exclusive possession for shippers, but rather a inter-organizational system designed and used by all the main parties concerned of logistics.
The strategies for the application of e-Logistics according to the parties concerned of logistics are summarized as follows. Firstly, it is necessary for the government or the firms relating to e-logistics to have more interest in and make practical use of e-Logistics for the successful e-Logistics application. Secondly, CEOs of the firms as well as the government have to have a positive and concrete mind on the application of e-logistics and support it financially and institutionally. Thirdly, continuous connectivity among the bodies concerned has to be maintained collaboratively. Fourthly, political support of government to establish a network and a integrate e-logistics system has to be given.
