The purpose of this study is to present the trends towards of developments of korean third-party logistics industry by analysing and comparing national and overseas logistics industry.
The main findings results are summarized :
First, logistics service's customers (manufacturer/distributor) are those which use of the third party-logistics services in order to reduce logistics cost and to achieve efficient logistics performance.
Second, the third party-enterprises which are logistics services supplies have to give confidence to consignors, give systemic logistics services and exert efforts for low cost high-quality.
Third, it is desirable that government's support for the third party logistics industry should increase the efficiency of logistics market legal and systematic improvement measures.
