The purpose of this research is to develop the evaluation model of technical engineering & construction information management (TECIM) in terms of systematic and scientific management of technical engineering and construction knowledge, which can increase competitive power in this industry.
From literature reviews on previous researches, the characteristics of TECIM in terms of information management, knowledge management, and technical information, have been identified, and the success factors for the evaluation of TECIM have been established. Based on these, the evaluation model to assess the level of the information management has been established by AHP Analysis technique. To verify propriety of proposed model, various comparative analysis and assessment are conducted by direct interviews of 21 companies.
