The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Success-Failure and Sex on Attribution in Taekwondo Competition. The subject of this study were two hundreds middle school Takwondo players and the questionnaire was worked out with them classified as winners and losers. The mean and standard deviation about the attribution factors were produced by the collected materials and two- way ANOVA was used to verify the mean difference.
The conclusions of this study were as follows:
1. Winners attributed their success to the sequence of effort, ability, task difficulty, and luck.
2. Losers attributed their results to the sequence of effort, task difficulty, ability, and luck.
3. All the males and females attributed their success to the sequence of effort, ability, task difficulty, and luck.
4. In the ability factor, all the winners(male and female) had a tendency to attribute their success to the ability.
5. In the task difficulty factor, losers had a tendency to attribute their results to the task difficulty.
6. In the luck factor, losers had a tendency to attribute their results to the luck.
7. In the effort factor, winners had a tendency to attribute their success to the effort.
