The purpose of this study investigated on exercise type for bone mineral density in middle aged womens.
20 housewives selected as subject and then divided into three group; The health group with 7 persons, swimming group with 7 persons, control group with 6 persons.
The results were as follows;
3. Lumbar bone mineral density
1) Significant different was appeared on lumbar 1 BMD in health group higher than swimming group and control group.
2) Significant different was appeared on lumbar 2 BMD in health group higher than the other groups, and then swimming group higher than control group.
3) Significant different was appeared on lumbar 3 BMD in health group higher than the other groups, and then swimming group higher than control group.
4) Significant different was appeared on lumbar 4 BMD in health group and swimming group higher than control group.
5) Significant different was appeared on lumbar total BMD in health group higher than the other groups, and then swimming group higher than control group.
4. Femur bone mineral density
1) Significant different was appeared on femur neck BMD in health group higher than swimming group and control group.
2) Significant different was appeared on troch BMD in health group higher than swimming group and control group.
3) Significant different was appeared on femur inter BMD in health group higher than swimming group and control group.
4) Significant different was appeared on Ward's triangle BMD in health group higher than swimming group and control group.
5) Significant different was appeared on femur total BMD in health group higher than swimming group and control group.
