The purpose of this study was to identify what difference there was in the social-education function of korean dance between those experienced and those inexperienced in Korean dance educated as part of the social program and what difference there was in the degree of improvement in the social-education function of korean dance according to the degree of participation in Korean dance (the duration and intensity of participation).
To attain this goal, the adult women aged more than 30s resident in seoul were selected as the population, of whom 215 women experienced in Korean dance and 180 inexperienced in Korean dance were sampled. then, an attempt was mad made to make a comparative analysis of the social-education function of korean dance.
The questionnaire to measure the social-education function of korean dance was completed through the pre-test made by the group of specialists on the basis of the items applied in the literature review and previous studies.
To analyze the this questionnaire research, the frequency analysis was conducted to compare the difference in the social-education function of korean dance between those experienced inexperienced in and those Korean dance. and one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA) was conducted in Korean dance according to the degree of participation in the social education program providing women with Korean dance.
Based on the study results obtained through the above research process, the following conclusion was drawn:
1. the group of women experienced in Korean dance showed the statistically significant high level of physical function of korean dance compared to the group of women inexperienced in Korean dance.
2. the group of women experienced in Korean dance showed the statistically significant high level of mental function of korean dance compared to the group of women inexperienced in Korean dance.
3. the group of women experienced in Korean dance showed the statistically significant high level of social skills of korean dance compared to the group of women inexperienced in Korean dance.
4. Depending on the duration of participation, there was not a significant difference in the physical and spiritual function of korean dance among women experienced in Korean dance, but there was not a significant difference in Korean dance, but there was not a significant difference in the social function of korean dance alone.
5. Depending on the duration of participation, there was a significant difference in the physical, spiritual and social function of korean dance among women experienced in Korean dance.
6. Depending on the intensity of participation, there was a statistically significant high difference in the physical, spiritual and social function of korean dance alone women experienced in Korean dance.
