This thesis investigated differentiation aspect of Kinship terminology used by the Lees of Seongsan, in a Lineage Village of Seongju Hangae depend on clique.
1) There was built by by Weol-bong Lee Jeong hyeon, in a Lineage Village of Hangae in the beginning 17th century, have thrived by Lee Suseong in the beginning 17th century. Within the Sengju area, There was coexistence a variety of sochools. There was divided into two different schoolsin a Lineage Village of Seongju Hangae, No-ron group(老論系列) and Nam-in group(南人系列) depend on clique, Between 17th to 19th. There was superior No-ron group(老論系列) more than Nam-in group(南人系列), there was superior Nam-in group(南人系列) after 19th. Nam-in group(南人系列) is Lee Hwang schools in Yongnam(嶺南) area, No-ron group(老論系列) is Lee-i in Giho(畿湖) area.
2) The qualities that constitute the inner form of termed kinship organization-generation, lineality and collaterality, consanguine and affine, age, marriage, gender, hang-lyeol(行列) and age, tone. The followings are the coclusion of differentiation aspect of Kinship terminology Bukbigotaek (北扉古宅) of Nam-in group(南人系列) and Gyoridaek(교리댁) of No-ron group(老論系列). Terms of address of Bukbigotaek(北扉古宅) is ancient language, Gyoridaek(교리댁) is standard terms of address.
3) Discriminal qualities meaning of lineality and collaterality has an important function. A stem of ‘abea’(아배:北扉古宅)/abuji(아부지) (Gyoridaek) is lineality and A stem of ‘ajea’(아재)(北扉古宅)/ajes’i(아제씨)(Gyoridaek) is collaterality.
4) Terms of address for a specific kinship are changed various by father and brothers of husband’ age. And terms of address for a specific kinship are changed various by uncle and a sister in-law’ marriage, speaker’ gender, hang-lyeol(行列) and age.
5) Generally, terms of address appear by generation, but the Bukbigotaek(北扉古宅) of Nam-in group(南人系列) shows unique form of term, that and terms of address generation do not correspondence, a case of sae-ajimae (새아지매), ajibaem(아지뱀). It is because of keeping society’s distance.
6) Terms of address are definitely classified by are consanguine and affine. Although in consanguine terms of address are differentiated in many ways, in affine terms of address are defined by a single word ‘sae-’(새) in case of Bukbigotaek(北扉古宅). But Gyoridaek(교리댁) is standard terms of address.
