Third Culture Kids (TCKs) live in a foreign land, but are destined to go back to their home country. Specifically in this paper, Korean Missionary Kids (MKs) in the Philippines are studied to understand the differences and similarities of the personal, social, and religious life of Korean MKs in both international and Korean based schools. Qualitative methods, supported by quantitative surveys, such as diary writing, personal and group interviews were used for this research. Agreeing to previous research (Deza & Kwon, 2005), the MK schools, both international and Korean based schools in the Philippines, were the most important element in the identity formation of Korean MKs. The results of extreme low local cultural influence were shown. By some degree, Korean MKs at both Faith Academy and Hankuk Academy have swum in the strong stream of Korean, Christian, and global competence, representing both western and Korean education.
