This study aims to investigate some worshipped dolmens in Liaoning Province among dolmens distributed mainly in the Northeast Asia.
Many people have been interested in dolmens in Liaoning Province since the discovery of the dolmens. The ritual of worshipping dolmens has been held according to the traditional belief.
The results of this study are as follows:
First, the dolmens related in the ritual of worshipping among dolmens in Liaoning Province lie in the place which everyone cansee easily.
Second, the fact that cap-stones and stone props are kept well is the physical feature of the dolmens.
Third, the distinguished characteristic of the dolmens is that the cap-stones shape the eaves by hanging over the stone props. Especially, the northern eaves of Shipengshan dolmen is 325cm in length and it gives us the grandeur.
Fourth, Taizei dolmen and Shipengshan dolmen with shrines and in temples have become the objective the worship of ancient people.
Fifth, the worshipped dolmen looks like a table-type. The memorial tablets, products made of clay and incense burners lie in the chamber tomb.
Sixth, In front of xianrentang dolmen is the stone board used for killing pigs needed for the ritual.
