Since modern times, Western literary thoughts have been flooding into China, which is so wide in range and deep in intensity that is rare in the history of the world literature. And the influence of the conflicts and integrity between the western and eastern cultures on the modernization of Chinese literature is also far?reaching. In the history of the modern Chinese literature, a great number of writers had attempted more or less to translate foreign works. Among them, the backbones were those returned overseas scholars. Focusing on Lu Xun, the most important writer in modern Chinese literature, this article is trying to make a review and study of their exploration of the practice, theories and styles of translation as well as their great contributions on the introduction of the translation of foreign literature.
