scEmergency Medical Technicians act not only as rescue-workers at the ene but also in charge of many supporting roles for the medical staff at the hospitals. However it is true that there is not a lot of awareness about the EMTs in the hospital. In order to find out the image of EMTs. descriptive research was carried out on 156 nurses who make up a great part of the medical staff with the goal of developing the profession of EMTs as well as to provide the basic information to develop a strategy for enhancing the image of EMTs.
The results of this study were as follows:
1. The credit for image for EMTs of the subjects was 3.25, the most high credit was 3.58 for the 'job', and most low credit was 2.83 for the 'role'
2. The credit for the 'job perception' was 0.44. as sub-scope. 0.78 for the 'hospital stage', 0.10 credit for 'medication'.
3. There was no statistically significant difference on image among general characteristics of the subjects.
4. There was no statistically significant difference on job-perception among general characteristics of the subjects.
5. There were no statistically significant difference on image among the job related characteristics of the subjects.
6. There were no statistically significant difference for the job-perception among the job related characteristics of the subjects.
