Korean churches have grown very rapidly in the world. Recently, it has been argued that the churches should be more systematically managed in order to achieve mature development. Pastor, as a manager of church, is needed to learn the church management. This study investigates the literature on church management and surveys the curricula of theological seminaries in Korea and the US. We show that critical issues in church management are strategy, vision, leadership, organization management, collective behavior, financial management/accounting, marketing, information system, and culture. We also propose 15-week syllabus of church management in theological seminaries.
