Recently, some of local governments in Korea are planing or already started to construct LRT(Light Railway Transit). However, it is inappropriate that LRT construct should be apply to『Urban Railroad Construct Rul e』which is written by centered on MRT(Mass Railway Transit). Therefore, based on『Article 10-2 of Urban Railroad Law (Construction and operation)』, rule which includes contents of LRT construct should be revised. Comprehensive construct rule are presented in this paper, and should be considered for vehicle characteristic of Rubber tired AGT(Automated Guideway Transit), Steel wheel AGT(Automated Guideway Transit), Monorail, Tram, LIM(Linear Induction Motor) And then this rule should be able to be coped with development of system and technique. Specific value is deleted at transition curve, gauge widening and radius of curvature on existing rule. Besides, expectation of LRT is constructed on overhead structure(bridge), the contents for rail structures and protection of structures is added. Also, prepare for in this paper, case of Automated Guideway Transit, safety facilities from the regulation of『Automated Urban Guided Trans port(AUGT) safety requirements』are presented.
