The purpose of this paper is to analyze change of age structure and aging problems.
According to NSO(The National Statistical Office), South korea has become aging society. The population of the aged is increasing rapidly as a result of better living conditions and the advancement medical technology. Meanwhile, TFR(Total Fortile Rates) is decreasing rapidly as a result of change of social environment, such as women's high educational level achievement and participation in economic activities, late marriage in life and transformation of women's life style.

Compared with other developed countries, the numbers of the aged is not yet serious problem in South Korea. South Korea has a strong tradition of family support for the elderly but now this has weakened family support.
The central and local government is tasked with preparing a social safety net.
