In case of gas or the compressor of air, efficiency is extremely decreased by polluting the operational body of a interior equipment and wall panel if oil is used for the lubrication of a piston ring. Thus, a self lubrication-solid bearing material and a high-molecular complex material can be used as materials of a piston ring.
In this research, JIG was manufactured to be similar to a real drive by applying reciprocation kinematic friction tester about diverse first gathering discriminated the component ration of a piston ring used in CNG charging VRA compressor. In addition, this research drew coefficient of friction through a friction test, and experiment on the judgement of material suitability and the comparison of superiority between materials with measuring wear quantity.
