This study shows a diversity of viewpoints on the concept of globalization and states that globalization is an accelerated phenomenal change that took place due to the decentralization of the preexisting structure of the Cold War and ideology, the appearance of neo-liberal economy and the internet revolution, all after the mid 80s. And in the regions of Africa, globalization had been understood and approached as democratization in the political point of view, openness in the economical point of view and as the growth of the civil society in the socio-cultural point of view.
This thesis is suggesting an outlook of the proceeding present condition and the hereafter of globalization in Africa, and the dilemmas and the limits that may be faced at political, economical and socio-cultural levels during the process of globalization are being analyzed by using Mozambique's case as an example.
Considering the present rate and the direction of globalization advancement, in their current internal and structural adjustment's conditions, most African countries, including Mozambique are considered to be hard to be integrated in the world economy. Politically availed and strengthened by democratization, institutional democracy was introduced in the continent of Africa and various political powers are gradually learning to coexist through democratic elections and system. In socio-cultural aspect the fast growth of the civil society is now leading social activities in several areas. Despite the efforts and struggles of such African countries, the truth is that individually, African countries still lack remarkably in ability and power to compete in the world stage. In accordance, considering localization, countries such as Mozambique that lack competitive power should establish a policy or a system that will encounter globalization through cooperation and partnership in terms of regional integration. Building on the basis of political security, it is necessary to work towards the realization of globalization by building a cooperation network, making technical support, dept reduction, market economy benefits, financial cooperation and state's establishment possible through international financial organizations and NGOs.
