It is very meaningful occasion for me to find out really unique character and patriotic sentiment of Sir General Ahn Jung Geun through this research. I think such patriotic character is very important for modem young men to form national identity and personality.
Sir. General Ahn Jung Geun is a great historic hero internationally as well as in Korea. When he killed Ito伊藤博文 on Oct 26 in 1909, he was only 31-year-old young man. However, he established his own philosophy entitled "Peace in East Theory", that Asian countries should form their oriental peaceful community through the political and national independence of each country. Through this short paper, I would like to find out a message by researching papers of Sir. General Ahn, and deliver it to my students. I am interested in his "Peace in East Theory", which is against Ito's "Great Oriental co-prosperity" in other words, Sir. General Ann had sincerity in his claims which were against Ito's fabulous pledges. I hope to share this thesis from his particular experience which happened in 1909; and I wish to apply this to my students in order to actualize their personality and value structure.
