Suicide must be not only a personal thing, but a social phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to have the reasonable attitude to the Suicide as a individual and a social phenomenon.
First, there are some personal reasons for the Suicide. With clear motivations may be selected the act of suicide. Suicide is a symbolizing act having the message to communicate with others. Even in the extreme situation, people pursue of the meaning of their life as like the Homo religiosus.
Second, in choosing death, there are social reasons. There are some victim-reasons. This leads to find a solution for the social problems caused Suicide. The message in the Suicide is found by others as "der Uberlebende"(the remnant) and they are willing to answer to the message.
Suicide is an act of self selected. So, Suicide can be expressed 'Selected-Death'. And there are intentions in the death note left by suicide. We need also take a look at the way of the public's response about Selected-Death. Through the Chinese folklore Mrs. Ming's Tears and the Death of former President Roh Moo-hyun, we can find out meaning of the message left in their death note, and the public's response on the basis of mythological theory and analysis method.
Suicide is the invalidating all their existential possibility meaning the nihility of all one's possibilities. However, it is not all unnecessary to appreciate for the rest life of the suicide. In spite all their own worth and freedom, more courage to admit it must be selected in terms and acts of transforming. we need accept it mercifully. Furthermore, it can be evaluated as positive points of view about their life. At least they have examined themselves carefully, left messages into the world, and wanted to communicate with the others.
As looking at death the others are often ashamed and of and hatred for themselves. They feel the lack them and are willing to find out the message after them. And others as the remnant accept the messages as their life to run. And the remnant also make a myth like the ideology of narrative type and spread it across the world.
