This paper aimed to described the development process of writing theory about literary works during Japanese Imperialism. Writing education started from the period of pre-modern enlightenment, but writing theory were not appeared to Japanese Imperialism.
The first writing theory was found out literary works that expressed to Joseon-Mundan(the literary magazine from 1924 to 1926). In this times, many of literary man announced to writing problems about poem, fiction etc. Lee Gwang-su wrote to the theory of various literary works, Ju Yo-ha, Kim Eok wrote to poem and Kim Dong-in wrote to fiction for example.
In this times, many of literary man wrote about specialized literature theory and literary works. The writing theory were reflected the trend of times. These tendency more specialized various genre about poem and fiction. Lee Sung-hwan suggested the necessary of peasant literature for example. But the concept of peasant poem and peasant fiction were not clear, and these theory's influence are not identified.
But I think that these literary writing theory were the main stream of writing pattern and these tendency influenced to modern times.
