e-Commerce pose the most significant challenge to the business mode since the advent of the Internet. It has fundamentally altered the business foundation. with the rapid development of electronic trade, Bolero System was created in April 1998 under the stewardship of S.W.I.F.T and the TT Club.
International trade has traditionally been fraught with financial, logistic and time inefficiencies, and high business costs every year. but Bolero System is getting rid of these inefficiencies by moving world trade onto the Internet, allowing documents and data to be exchanged online between all parties in the trade chain.
Furthermore, a Bolero Bill of Lading preserves the basic legal concepts as well as the business functionality and robustness of a traditional bill of lading, while still offering all of these advantages of the electronic media. it enables an international trading company to achieve significant cost savings and improvement in efficiency.
So, in spite of some technical and operational problems, legally a Bolero Bill of Lading is an entirely viable alternative to traditional paper bill, and commercially, there are compelling reasons to use them. ultimately, bolero system will make trade easier to execute.
